Here are some fun facts!

And a couple of boring ones.

Amanda was born in Minnesota, and she divides her time between Minneapolis and New York City. Her first children’s book, Not A Book About Bunnies, was published in 2023 by Starry Forest Books.

A perpetual student, Amanda holds her MBA with a focus in Marketing. In 2019 she graduated from Hamline University with an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults.

In 2014 Amanda was co-owner of a caramel and popcorn company which was named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things. Yes, Oprah! Ask her about it sometime. Amanda, not Oprah. Well, try to ask Oprah if you’d like to. She’s probably pretty busy, though.

We got off track there. As you may have gathered, Amanda does love to learn. And she loves to write. She is currently studying Screenwriting. Now she can boast that she is writing for kids and adults. And also for your dogs, goldfish, houseplants, whomever you choose to share her stories with.

This is Amanda, a Writer.
